The Street is Ours
My passion for street photography started years ago when I began to learn photography. I felt it was the most expressive way for documenting the life of people in any country. I see different people, each having his own thoughts and feelings. I see different lives and different classes sharing the same thing... the street. It is the only common thing between those different people.
Carrying the camera in my bag, I take shots of Egyptians in the streets and the transportation, men and women on their way to work, children going to their schools, laborers on bridges and construction sites, and the list goes on.
Throughout my work, I try to mix between my artistic style and the documentary style of photography.
“The Street is Ours” is an ongoing project, inspired from the song “Elshare3 lena”.
